HUMANA Participates in COP30 Technical Visits and Official Meetings in Belém
The countdown to COP30 has already begun, and the city of Belém is at the center of global attention. As authorities from various countries, ministries, and international organizations visit the city to assess the infrastructure and participate in preparatory meetings, the HUMANA team has also been present and active.
In recent months, HUMANA has been invited to join meetings with strategic partners, including representatives of the UN, the Federal Government, and civil society networks that are planning side events, delegations, and logistics for the conference.
These participations are not mere formalities. They are an opportunity to influence how interpretation, language accessibility, and the inclusion of indigenous and traditional voices will be addressed at the event.
In this context, HUMANA contributes with its expertise in training interpreters from traditional communities and in creating solutions that respect the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Amazon.
Its presence in these meetings reinforces the importance of valuing local knowledge and ensuring that COP30 is not only held in Belém but also built with Belém—through the participation of its people, professionals, and ancestral cultures.
