2020: A Change Of Paradigm

At the root of the global pandemic by COVID-19, the work of Simultaneous Interpretation has undergone complete revolution. Thanks to the technological improvement worldwide in the field of telecommunications and, specially, the upcoming and updating of communication platforms and online streaming such as Zoom, Skype, Google Meets, etc… simultaneous interpretation services have been able to quickly adapt to this change.

This paradigm shift takes the form of a virtual meetings (presentations, debates and unipersonal meetings among participants) where a participant’s only need is a stable internet connection; with the advantage of being able to visually replicate his or her contents to all other participants, instantly sharing the screen of his/her device, say as PC, tablet or Smartphone.

HUMANA COM & TRAD, with more than 12 years of experience in the scenario of simultaneous translation and interpretation, has been able to take steps ahead in the automation and execution of online simultaneous interpretation tasks. In addition to its work facilities being prepared to the new demands, Humana Com& Trad has set a mark in the paradigm shift, not only exploiting the advantages of these new synergies in offering quality SRI services, but doing so in a safe, efficient way, operating and in a natural environment, dramatically downscaling its ecological and carbon footprint.
